I see two people, dear and true.
Both so very strong.
But a crack in the stained glass mirror
sings a sorry song.
One is Maya, entity of cheer.
She is who we should be, and yet
she suffers just as we.
She lives, breathes, and questions.
Another is Felix, fluid and free.
Open and just, but unsure.
Strong as a bear, yet meeker
than all his desires.
Maya and Felix, these people are one.
Both open, both so misunderstood.
But he does not hate. She does not hate.
These fluid beings bring only hope.
